Add Traxdrop to your home screen

Get Traxdrop on your phone like an app, with its own icon. It opens full screen, without the browser bars. There's nothing to download from an app store.

iPhone & iPad

1. Open traxdrop.com in Safari.
2. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen (at the top on iPad).
3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
4. Tap Add in the top corner.

If you can't see Add to Home Screen, scroll to the bottom of the share menu, tap Edit Actions and add it. On iOS 16.4 or later you can also do this from Chrome, Edge or Firefox, using their share menus.

Logging in on iPhone

The home screen app keeps its own login, separate from Safari. That means the log in link in our email would log you in to Safari, not the app. Use the code instead:

1. Open Traxdrop from your home screen and enter your email on the log in page.
2. Open the email from Traxdrop. There's a 6-digit code under the log in button, and it's in the subject line too.
3. Go back to Traxdrop and enter the code, then tap Log in.

Your iPhone may suggest the code above the keyboard, so you can fill it in with one tap. Codes expire after an hour.

Android

1. Open traxdrop.com in Chrome.
2. Tap the menu button in the top corner.
3. Tap Add to Home screen, then Install.
4. Follow the prompts to confirm.

Chrome sometimes shows its own Install app button in the address bar or at the bottom of the screen. That does the same thing. Samsung Internet, Edge and Firefox have an equivalent option in their menus.

Removing it

Press and hold the Traxdrop icon on your home screen, then choose Remove (iPhone) or Uninstall (Android).
